AGENTS

Information for Agents

Wentworth Institute’s Education Agents play a vital role in connecting prospective international students (both overseas and Australian based) with Australian educational institutions competing in the international education industry.  Agents are often the first point of contact between prospective students and the Australian international education industry.  In playing this vital role, the ethics and procedures followed by Wentworth Institute’s Education Agents are of crucial importance to maintaining Australia’s high reputation for its international educational quality and services. It is mandatory for Wentworth Institute to take all reasonable measures to use education agents that have an appropriate knowledge and understanding of the Australian international education industry, and for WIN not to use education agents who are dishonest or lack integrity.  For this reason, being appointed as an agent at WIN requires agents to provide a completed application with referees and student referrals plus a signed declaration that agents will conduct all business in an ethical and honest manner.  It requires agents to be familiar with the ESOS Act (2000) and the National Code (2007) and all of WIN’s marketing materials and website information.  It is also recommended that agents visit the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) website – www.homeaffairs.gov.au. Below are key documents that Education Agents should read to be a successful Agent for Wentworth Institute.

Due to the current situation with regards the Department of Home Affairs and Student Visa Applications, WIN Higher Education are currently reviewing our agent process and procedure.
